What makes Buzz Cuts - Kids Salon different from a regular salon?
Unlike usual kid’s salons, everything at Buzz Cuts - Kids Salon is designed with children in mind. From our fun-themed styling chairs and play areas to our stylists who specialize in working with wiggly or nervous little ones, we focus on patience and play. We turn a chore into a celebration!
How do you handle if a child is nervous or has sensory sensitivities?
In such cases, our stylists are trained to move at your child’s pace. We use "kid-speak" to explain our tools, offer distractions like toys and movies, and can even perform "dry cuts" if the sound of water is a trigger. Just let us know your child’s specific needs when you arrive.
At what age should your child get their first haircut?
Usually, there is no restriction to a specific age, but it is recommended for parents to get their child a haircut from the age of 6 months to 2 years.

Can you handle specialized hair textures like braids or twists?
Absolutely. We take pride in being an inclusive salon. We offer cultural styling, including braids and twists, ensuring every child leaves our chair feeling confident and looking their best.
Do you offer Aqiqah/Mundun Head Shave service?
Yes, at Buzz Cut Kids Salon, we offer services for the Aqiqah/Mundun ceremony. It includes a head shave (performed with clippers only) and a keepsake of the child's first hair, making it more special and memorable.
What is your "Hair Rescue" service?
Our Hair Rescue service is a dedicated time slot where our experts gently fix hair mishaps or work through difficult mats without the stress. Our Hair Rescue services includes: 4 Cornrow Braids (Medium Hair), Detangling service, Simple Braid, and Specialty Design Braids.
Do you offer family services?
Yes, we do offer family services while maintaining our focus on your child! The services include: Men’s Haircut, Women’s Haircut with Quick Dry, and Women’s Haircut, Wash & Style. We also provide complimentary drinks for parents so you can relax while your little one is being pampered.
Do you offer hair coloring services?
To maintain the highest safety standards for hair and scalp development, Buzz Cuts does not offer chemical hair coloring or lightening services. We focus on healthy cuts, natural styling, and kid-friendly sparkle!

What services do you offer for "Glitz & Giggles" parties?
Our salon isn't just for cuts; it's a party destination! We host themed parties that include fancy updos, glitter, "sparkle" makeup, and spa-inspired treatments. It’s the perfect way to celebrate birthdays with friends.
Do you offer manicure service for kids?
Yes! We offer kid-friendly mini manicure service, which gives a gentle spa experience for your little one. It includes a gentle file, non-toxic nail polish, and a calming mini massage. We top it off with a creative nail decal for a polished, professional look.
Do you offer kid’s makeup service?
Yes, we offer kid’s makeup service by our professionals, which is perfect for special occasions, from recitals and dances to birthday parties. Our kids’ makeup package includes delicate glitter eyeshadow and a touch of lip color.
BOOKING & POLICIES
How to make an appointment?
While we occasionally have space for walk-ins, we strongly recommend that you book your appointment online through our portal to ensure you get your preferred time and stylist, especially on weekends.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is simple! We ask for at least 2 hour’s notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the spot to another family on our waiting list. For more details, please read our cancellation policy.
What happens if you are running late?
To keep our appointments running on time for everyone, we have a 5-minute grace period. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment or adjust the service.
How should you prepare your child for their visit?
Preparing your child for a visit to Buzz Cuts - Kids Salon doesn’t need to be stressful. Our salon is designed specifically for children, including infants and toddlers, with a calm and welcoming environment that helps them feel at ease right away. Our stylists are patient, friendly, and experienced in working with children of all ages and personalities.
